Volunteering roles

• External events

Main Responsibilities: host our stall at external events

Skills/Knowledge Required: a car/driving license, competency with taking on line payments, problem solving skills in the case of glitches

Time of the Week and Frequency: variable

How many Hours: 4 hours, variable

• Events at the Shop

Main Responsibilities: setting up, welcoming attendees and helping clearing up at the end.

Skills/Knowledge Required: good customer service skills

Time of the Week and Frequency: variable

How many Hours: 4 hours, variable

• Promotions

Main Responsibilities: Helping our marketing and promotions manager with taking pictures and videos for posting online, conducting interviews, and bringing up any ideas to boost our social media.

Skills/Knowledge Required: Familiarity with social media, particularly Instagram and Facebook. Enthusiastic about marketing, taking pictures and videos.

Time of the Week and Frequency: variable

How many Hours: variable

• Sales and till work

Main Responsibilities: Customer service, taking orders, putting books away, helping with displays.

Skills/Knowledge Required: No previous experience required but must be kind and comfortable talking to people.
