'This book, The New Age of Sexism, is a call to action. If you use a computer and AI, you're going to need to read this.

Laura Bates (EverydaySexism.com) calls out the misogyny of AI and its impact on women and minoritised communities.

She speaks of schoolgirls driven out of education by 'deep fake' pornography created by their male peers, and of being threatened by AI generated porn images of herself.

Bates explores AI Girlfriends, Image-Based Sexual Abuse, Cyber Brothels and Sex Robots with well-researched precision. 

It's essential reading; deeply disturbing, yet insightful, pointing to interventions that are foundational to AI and online safety. From now on, I will consider my use of AI.
