Ruhaan recommends - The Terrible Thing That Happened to Barnaby Brocket

Ruhaan is our youngest volunteer and volunteers with us on a Saturday. He helps serve customers, curate our book selection and order our cards.

He has recently been reading The Terrible Thing That Happened to Barnaby Brocket by John Boyne, author of the acclaimed book The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas (which Ruhaan has also read and loved). 

Ruhaan likes the tale of Barnaby Brocket because "it teaches people that its OK to be 'a disgrace to everything that is normal' ". Ruhaan especially recommends the book for 10 to 11 years olds.
