A few newly published titles coming up on the 15th April which we want to let you know about.
Against Landlords, How to Solve the Housing Crisis is a Verso publication by Nick Bano, who lays the blame at the feet of landlordism, which boosts house prices and makes tenancy unaffordable. A must read for tenants associations, renters and landlords alike.
Now, the People! Revolution 21st century is a rallying cry from Jean-Luc Mélenchon, founder of the La France insoumie (translation rebellious) and leader of the French left. The book proposes a move to a 'change of civilisation', and heralds a 'citizens' revolution', sounds good.
Our final new release is Barbara Comyns: A Savage Innocence by Avril Horner, a biography based on Comyn's letters, revealing her with and resourcefulness and her ability to transform her own hardships into compelling fiction. A woman who challenged the norms with her gothic and macabre tales and in doing so captured the complexities of human life.
