My favourite's for March

GOODLORD Ella Frears, is now out in paperback! in a stunning pink and red scheme no less... I read or actually inhaled this book over two days. It was a wild, entrancing and all encompassing epic. If you like poetry, swearing, and eating gummy worms on trains, you will love Goodlord. (also if you aren't the biggest fan of estate agents ;) Goodlord was shortlisted for Forward Prize 2024! 

PERFECTION Vincenzo Latronico, I had the delicious privilege of reading a proof copy of this book, it was sparse and taut with everything sharp, and everything wrong with 21st century living. You will be transported to their airy comfortable Berlin apartment, unsure whether to be struck by wonder or terror. Perfection has been shortlisted for the International Booker Prize! get your hands on a copy whilst you still can.

HALF ARSE HUMAN Leena Norms came out last December but the book is shining in our window display nevertheless, as next month we will be lucky enough to have Leena joining us for a book signing, in conversation and all round good time on the 4th of April... details on the event will be up on our website soon!
