On the radar for February - We Do Not Part by Han Kang

Recent recipient of the 2024 Nobel Prize for Literature, Han Kang, will be delivering a new book, translated for the first time into English next month.

We Do Not Part follows Kyungha, who journeys from Seoul to Jeju Island to care for her hospitalized friend Inseon's pet bird. Upon arrival, a snowstorm engulfs the island, leading Kyungha into a profound exploration of Inseon's family history and the lingering impact of the 1948 Jeju massacre.
