Holly McNish at The Attic

A great afternoon with Hollie McNish on Mothers Day last week at The Attic in Totton. Hollie's stories, poetry and prose had the 200 strong audience laughing 'til they cried. We would thoroughly recommend her books to read aloud with friends, for a satirical and alternative take on all that it means to be a alive in today's crazy world. 

This tour was promoting the paperback publication of Lobster but Hollie also read poems from her previous book Slug and from Nobody told me, her poetry and prose collection describing her thoughts on raising a child in modern Britain. A great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
