Fancy reading Stream of Consciousness? By Alex

We have a great many titles in the genre of "Stream of Consciousness" to explore within the shop right now. This is a genre of unending thought, reflecting and throwing everything onto the page in the author's own "stream" of thoughts, mood and worldview. There is so much to enjoy in this genre, notably for its sincerity, whimsy, experimentation and pure uniqueness.

A particular favourite of mine is 'Pond' by Claire Louise-Bennett which is so rich with its intentionality, observational whim, serendipity, placing the reader at the hands of Bennett's musings of familiarity and unfamiliarity in the mundane - very very much recommend. Bennett also has a new book on the way titled 'Big Kiss, Bye-Bye', set to be published in October.

We, of course, have the classics such as Virginia Woolf's 'To the Lighthouse', James Joyce's infamous 'Ulysses' and Marcel Proust's 'In Search of Lost Time'. New in is also 'Ducks, Newbury' by Lucy Ellman which takes inspiration from the Joycean long winding sentence.

All these in stock for those who loves a genre that shapes and reshapes itself around mood and thought.
