Jeremy Brown grew up in Surrey, fascinated by the weather. He has completed an integrated master’s degree in Environmental Sciences at the University of East Anglia, and a masters in Climate Change: History, Society and Culture at King’s College London, and is now studying a PhD in climate comics at the University of Southampton. His aim is to inspire a new generation of real-life superheroes for the planet

Online review: ‘For fans of the ‘Renegades’ series I personally feel that ‘Project Neptune’ is another fine addition to this literary canon. Volume three is possibly the most educational and informative so far. I never realised what heroes the Sundarban mangrove forests are in protecting many beautiful species of being… The five souls who have created this series put across an issue that needs all of our help to heal yet do it in a way that is real, informative and is achieved without resorting to platitudinous self-righteousness. There is a pureness to the way that the real injustice of climate change and what can be done to help is here brought to the forefront and there is genuine warm wit too. Also, with the utter injustice that we have so many young people on this planet feeling such sadness, there is also the real message of how we all need each other and how, in truth, love comes first in everything’.
