Come and join local artist and Jutta Manser and her exhibition of exceptional woodcut prints. Works will be for sale so perhaps you will find that extra special Christmas gift
Jutta’s love of art has taken her in various directions: firstly typography and designing book jackets, next the design and making of jewellery, which she studied at Sir John Cass School of Art, then to botanical illustration in water colours, an HNC in Fine Art at Salisbury College--and finally to print-making, especially wood engraving. This is where her journey stops. She says ‘I love the use of the tools, the magic of seeing the image reveal itself as you take the first print...and above all I love my 1884 Albion Press used to make these prints.’
The exhibition will be in place here at October Books for the duration of December, for you to view and purchase items from!
