Join Julien Masson and Jo Bressloff in our Community Space for a special launch event to celebrate their exhibition - the exhibition will be available to view during shop hours in our Community Space throughout the month of March.

Julien Masson presents a series of paintings inspired by the marine environment, created using reclaimed paints and recycled materials . “I try to echo the complexity and beauty of the environment but I am also exposing the ecological issues we are currently facing.”

Jo Bressloff explores the interface of sea, land and city scapes in Southampton to present a series of observational drawings of Southampton Water. Jo walks, observes, collects natural and manmade objects from the beach and finally she draws the panoramic scene. In her studio space, Jo has been exploring how to translate these observations and found objects into wire, plaster, painted and stitched sculptures.

The launch is a free entry event, and you can access the exhibition during shop hours throughout March - for FREE! If you'd like to sling October Books a donation, please do.
