A Poem by the Reading Ambassadors Sinclair Primary and Nursery School

A Poem by the Reading Ambassadors Sinclair Primary and Nursery School

Recently we had the Reading Ambassadors from Sinclair Primary and Nursery School with us. This is the poem they wrote when they were with us, we thought you would enjoy it. They kindly framed it for us and it is displayed proudly in the Children’s book section.

If there were no bookshops, how would our imagination grow?

The fiery power of words inside would cease and stop to glow.

Inside a bookshop, we can talk, share, chat, even socialise more.

But if there were no bookshops, our imagination would fail to soar.

Inside a bookshop, there is no stress, inside we are light and free.

We can study, learn and acquire knowledge, learn to get our degree.

Without bookshops, our worlds, our lives would just not be the same,

We’re very sure that most people would start to go insane……
