We love Lemn Sissay

Clare and Naomi had a great evening at the Lemn Sissay event at MAST a couple of weeks ago. Meeting the author, broadcaster and poet before the show was a real treat and we were lucky enough to sneak in at the back for the first half of the show. Lemn was funny, creative and quirky in his delivery and had us laughing aloud all through the show

We also sold A LOT of his books, with over 100 books purchased by his fans and a queue of extra-ordinary proportions for signing. Lemn spent time with his fans and chatted and took pictures and although it was a late night for him and us, it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

We do have TWO SIGNED COPIES of Let the Light Pour In, Lemn’s collection of Morning Poems. We’ll have a think about how we can allocate these, there may be a raffle or a other competition…. keep listening in for details.
