Volunteer gardening group plant sale!

This week is National Gardening Week and ever since the first celebration in 2012, this annual event has grown in popularity. Each year National Gardening Week sees thousands of people sharing their love of gardening, hosting events and talking about what they’re growing. The week also raises awareness of the difference that gardens and gardening can make to the lives of everyone. It helps to inspire more people, particularly the next generation of gardeners, to experience the joy of growing and creating beautiful green spaces.

Here at October Books we have a community garden that is run buy our volunteer gardening group and we are excited to let you know that they are holding a plant sale on Saturday 25th May, 11am - 2pm.

Come along to find the perfect plants including outside flowering plants, house plants and vegetables, and explore our growing community garden.
