Thank you to Marika Rose's on her talk and conversation about her new book

We had a very stimulating evening this month where Marika Rose (known mostly here for hosting the Radical Reading Group at the Shop) talked about her new book Theology for the End of the World.

Marike provided a fascinating background as to why she wrote the book. She then asked the packed audience to choose chapters she would read from which included the chapter on ‘the Holy Family’ and ‘God is Useless’
This was followed many good questions asked by some of the attendees.

Theology of the End of the World is available to buy in the shop priced at £19.99. The book proposes that in responding to the systems of capitalism, racism and patriarchy, the Christian community should stop trying to find a ‘good version’ of their faith but rather recognise the role that Christianity has had in these played in creating these systems.
