If you have been bereaved or affected by a loss by suicide, we are here to offer a listening ear, a safe space to share your thoughts, feelings and anxieties and to be part of a group that tragically “gets it”. All of the volunteers who lead our peer support groups have their own living experience of bereavement by suicide and we know that the grief cannot be fixed or eased by just kind words. It can help to have the grief and the pain witnessed, but never minimised or compared, in a compassionate community of others.

We have had a group running in the Winchester area for the past 7 years and the Southampton group started meeting in October Books in September 2022. We feel very fortunate to be part of such a caring community and hope we can add to the compassion that is the essence of this special place.
