Our First Book Fair at Durley C of E Primary School

We were invited to supply the books at Durley C of E Primary School last week. This was our first book fair event and we really enjoyed it! The pupils, class by class had a look at the books and chose the ones they wanted for potential purchase later by their parents/carers. Then there were different story telling sessions for the children throughout the afternoon. After school, the parents/carers came along later, enjoyed refreshments and looked purchased any books.

The event was such a success. Amelia and Suzanne really enjoyed the event. It was a lot of fun. It was so good to see the enthusiasm for books and reading that the children showed. The school has a wonderful library run by their librarian Mrs Cook whose passion for books is contagious.

We are so pleased to be invited back for three more fairs they have in the next academic year.
