author talk: La Vie Est Belle by Vie Portland
Tuesday 22nd March
in shop - 6.30pm - free entry
Please register via Eventbrite if you wish to attend so we know how many people to expect.
Join Vie Portland in the shop to hear the empowering story of how she learned to live hopefully ever after.
This is the story of how one woman, after growing up in a large family that had little love for her, hated who she was; after years of sexual and narcissistic abuse, years of neglect, she felt utterly worthless and unlovable. And it’s the story of how she turned all of that around to become who she is now.
Vie Portland is founder of local Community Interest Company, VieNess Discover You Love You CIC, where she teaches children, young people, and women, how to live happier, kinder, more confident, lives. She is also a creator of happiness products, and an author of children’s and adult’s books.
Please register via Eventbrite for instructions to join and to help us manage numbers in the shop. We are operating with Covid caution here at October Books, so please respect your fellow attendees by maintaining some distance. We are requesting that people attending events/gatherings in the shop please wear a face covering, and take a lateral flow test on the day of the event - to ensure all people feel safe.
