COP26: What’s Happening in Southampton?
Are you sick of watching politicians break empty promise after empty promise? Are you concerned about the future of our planet? You should be. As a costal city reliant on our bustling port for trade and industry, Southampton is at great risk of flooding and pollution. The natural landscape around Southampton, including the incredible wetlands, beautiful beaches, and rich cultural heritage sites are also in danger of being lost forever.
In conjunction with COP26, and the Global Day of Action for Climate Justice on Saturday (6th November), we wanted to highlight the various ways in which you can get involved around the city and make your voice heard!
