White poppies and hopes for peace
A reminder that we stock white poppies in the shop if you would like to commemorate all victims of war, both civilian and military, on all sides of conflict. The white poppy also challenges attempts to glorify or celebrate war, as well as nationalist narratives that focus only on military victims. .
The white poppies are distributed by the Peace Pledge Union, the UK’s oldest secular pacifist organisation. We hope you will support them and support the message of peace by purchasing a poppy from us.
