Webinar: Managing Conflict in Worker Co-ops
Wednesday 11th December - Community Space
Webinar - 3-4pm - free entry
(This webinar begins at 3pm, please arrive 15 mins before.)
We are proud to be a co-op here at October Books! So we are signing ourselves up to this Co-op Connections webinar, and opening it up for you to attend too - in our community space. This will be of interest to members of all co-ops in Southampton,
Conflict is part of everyday life though we don’t always know how to deal with it effectively.
In worker co-ops, in particular, it can be a challenge to raise key issues and concerns with your fellow worker colleagues with equal ownership rights. Yet worker co-op members could also find they have greater opportunities to be flexible in their approach, as they hone a process that best fits the culture of the organisation.
This free webinar - delivered by Britta Werner and Co-operatives UK's HR manager Kate Fielding - is an ideal opportunity for worker co-op members to gather tips and ideas for how to manage internal conflict.
Kate Fielding is Co-operatives UK's HR reward and policy manager with 10 years' experience in co-operative HR. Kate is a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development specialising in policy and provides expert advice, guidance and support on all aspects of the employment journey.
Britta Werner is a member and director at Unicorn Grocery, a worker co-operative in Manchester. With 10 years' experience in HR, Britta is a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Personnel and Development, and an HR generalist, with a specific focus on performance and culture.
