We Can Learn to...Collage - workshop taster session

Our first ‘We Can Learn to…’ workshop starts with a fantastic collage taster session on Saturday 20th January, 11am - 12.30pm.

There are many ways of doing collage. This session will involve cutting or tearing images or text from a selection of materials, including an assortment of old magazines, picture books and postcards. The torn materials will then be pasted onto a piece of card. An image and suggested theme will be provided, but you are welcome to follow whatever direction takes your interest. The session is suitable for beginners and will be hosted by Anton, a self-taught artist who finds collage 'a cheap and democratic art form which is great fun to do with others and a very good way of expressing things about the chaotic world we inhabit.'

All materials will be provided. No unaccompanied minors.
