Radical Tea Towels now available at October Books!

The perfect present for activists in your life. Radical Tea Towels are now in store.

It feels like modern politics has got a bit lost, doesn't it? In a world of rightwing populism, it's a lonely place for progressives, liberals and socialists alike. But scratch the surface of radical history and you realise there's always been hope. You're part of a movement that began centuries ago, made incredible progress, and continues to struggle for democracy, liberation and equality to this day. So set aside the doom and gloom for a moment, and start talking about the Suffragettes. And the Chartists. The Peasants' Revolt of 1381 and the founding of the NHS in 1948. Because those who own their history, own their future.

The Radical Tea Towel company is a small family business, conceived and based entirely in the UK. They design all their products themselves and source them almost entirely from rural areas of the country where jobs are in short supply. They use natural, unbleached finishes for their products wherever possible and eco friendly water based inks are used with virtually no impact on the environment. The bulk of their cotton is grown in the US & woven in Pakistan at Sapphire Textile Mills which has an excellent environmental & ethical track record supported by certification. All their products are all designed, printed, cut, sewn & packaged in the UK.
