JUNE 23rd MARKS OUR INAUGURAL OPEN MIC NIGHT!
There is a growing hub of authors, poets, and storytellers here in Portswood - something we’ve always celebrated and championed here at October Books.
Alongside our established Writers’ Circle (check social media - meetings take place the last week of every month), we’re very excited to announce October Books’ very first open mic event!
Whether you’re a poet, playwrite, essayist, or novelist, reading your own work or someone else’s, all are welcome!
The event is partially a fundraiser for October Books to ensure we can continue offering a stream of events throughout the year.
Tickets will be £5 on the door, 6.30-7.30.
