October Books & Analog Sea Special Event - 8th April 1PM

If, like us, you’re worried about what social media saturation is doing to our brains, the endless cycles of online news, and the idea that if it isn’t on Instagram, it didn’t happen, then we have something we’d like to tell you about! 

We’re beyond thrilled to be hosting the Co-Founder of the innovative offline only publisher Analog Sea, Jonathan Simons on Saturday 8th April.

We will be discussing Printed Books in the Digital Age, and why disconnecting from our devices and ‘always-online’ mentality can be so important. Analog Sea prioritises this disconnection in favour of reconnecting with Nature, ourselves, and each other; a message we at October Books feel very strongly about.

“Advocating for the human right to disconnect,” as they write in their Editorial Vision, “ we celebrate offline culture and the work artists create in solitude, that vital stretch of time when distraction fades and the deep wells of thought and feeling emerge.
