International Women's Day is powered by the collective efforts of all

Celebrate women's achievement. Raise awareness against bias. Take action for equality.

Collective action and shared ownership for driving gender parity is what makes International Women's Day impactful. Gloria Steinem, world-renowned feminist, journalist and activist once explained "The story of women's struggle for equality belongs to no single feminist nor to any one organization but to the collective efforts of all who care about human rights." So make International Women's Day your day and do what you can to truly make a positive difference for women.

To celebrate International Women's Day 2022, we will be screening 'Mothers of the Revolution' on the 7th March in the shop.

It is a feature-length documentary being directed by Briar March. This film will tell the moving true story of the Greenham Common Women's Peace Camp and how it changed the world.  After the film we will talk to a local women who attended some of the actions at the camp and open up a conversation about film and her experiences.  If you were involved in Greenham Common women's Peace Camp in any way, we would love it if you could join us and also speak of some of your experiences. 

It is a free event but we will be asking for donations on the night to cover costs
