Join Dr Andrew Tresidder via ZOOM to learn practical ways we can invest time and energy into our health and wellbeing.

Ask a hundred people how they are – “Fine” is often the answer. “Fearful, insecure, neurotic and emotionally imbalanced” is a fair description of what most of us have under the surface. Andrew’s book Health & Self Care covers aspects of health, the physiology of stress and performance, psychological health including ‘how life works’, the drama triangle and emotional logic, and aspects of spirituality, now recognised to also be important for optimal health, alongside common sense advice. It is primarily aimed at healthcare professionals and carers but aims to inspire us all.

Dr Andrew Tresidder (rhymes with consider!) has been a doctor in Somerset since 1983. He was a GP in Chard for many years, and was Bristol University's Somerset Academy GP Lead in Yeovil for several. He taught medical students since starting as a GP, and currently appraises GPs, works for Somerset CCG, and is South West Clinical Lead for GP Health, who look after GPs with psychological, mental health or addiction issues. His particular interest is what makes people tick, and how they can tick better.
