October Books is thrilled to announce that from Saturday 4th November we began stocking a curated selection of Coleman Books’ second hand and vintage books.

Coleman Books is a local business set up by Brenda and Keith Coleman 20 years ago selling second hand and vintage books at antique fairs and book fairs. The Colemans’ son Matt is now helping them to run the business and he approached us a few months ago to see if we could provide him with some shelf space so his customers could have somewhere to browse his stock more frequently. We jumped at the chance, both to support this local business and because it gives us an opportunity to provide more to our existing customers as well as bring more bibliophiles to October Books. We are particularly excited by the range of local history books Matt has included in his selection.

Matt said “Having been customers for many years we are delighted to work with October Books trading in second hand and antiquarian books. Our stock includes adult and children’s fiction as well as biographies, poetry and titles on local history, transport and nature.”
