Author Talk and Book Signing - Lynn Thompson, Blue On a Blue Palette

This week, on Wednesday 8th May we are so excited to have Lynn Thompson here at the shop for an author talk and book signing. Lynne will be joined by Nazneen Ahmed Pathak, British Bangladeshi writer, historian and visual artist who lives in Southampton.

As the resident poet of the bookshop, I am more than exited to welcome her into our hub of poets and creatives in the city!

Lynne Thompson, the fourth Poet Laureate for the City of Los Angeles, brings forth a poignant reflection on women's lives in her latest book, ‘Blue on a Blue Palette’. Born to Caribbean immigrants, Thompson's collection dives into the depths of female experiences, showcasing resilience amidst adversity.

Readers will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in Thompson's work and explore the complexities of human emotion. "Blue on a Blue Palette" invites us to embrace our history, celebrate our wildness, and stand in solidarity with women everywhere.
