Annual Get-Together of Members 2023

For October Books, the Annual Get-together of Members is more than a business meeting.

As a member-owned community benefit society, the AGM is one of the main channels of communication between the small staff team and the wider family of people who are invested in the life of our organisation.

AGMs are always an opportunity to both look back at the year that has passed, and also try to envisage what the next 12 months might have in store for us (literally, and metaphorically!). This year, we find ourselves taking a particularly reflective tone as we adjust to the impact of staffing changes and try to chart a new course.
